In the U.S. there is an array of inhumane riding and training techniques that are prevalent in the equestrian industry. However, most of the mistreatment stems from ignorance - not malice. With your financial help for the students at the Classical Stock Seat School of Arizona, we can make an impact on reducing ignorance in the equestrian industry by educating aspiring riding instructors and trainers, and we can educate amateur riders in the process of doing so.

 

Horses and the horse industry need grass-roots riding instructors and trainers, trained in the correct classical mind set. With that need in mind, our goal is to make a change from the base up. The true classical mind set is fading away rapidly. This must be reversed - the only way to reverse this trend is to start training a new generation of young riders and quality riding instructors and trainers.

 

The training to be a quality riding instructor or horse trainer takes time. Quality time, and lots of hard work. Our school is a 6 to 10 year program. It gets hard for a young rider to afford the training for the length of time it takes to train them correctly, so it is important to have access to financial aid for these students who are giving it their all!

The Classical Stock Seat School of Arizona is attempting to reach riders and encourage students to think about becoming more correct in their horse handling and thinking. In addition, our focus is on reaching the younger generation by educating students to have humane awareness of handling horses, which will ultimately raise up a whole new generation of riders and instructors that understand correctness. We need the funding to accomplish this. We want to keep the price of training riding instructors and trainers and amateur riders to a reasonable level.
