Our Programs
Equestrian students travel from near and far including various parts of the United States, Mexico, Canada, France and Sweden, to learn, be trained, and be mentored by C.S.S.S.A. instructors. Our Head Instructor, Ron McLoughlin has worked with thousands of students, teaching them a better, systematic way to accomplish their equine goals.
The atmosphere and environment take a high priority for safety and the grasping of knowledge here at the Classical Stock Seat School of Arizona. Instruction will be given by Ron McLoughlin, C.S.S.S.A. instructors, and C.S.S.S.A. senior student instructors. Instruction is tailored to the level of the student. Each student will be worked at their physical and mental level of understanding. Our school is a hands-on, one on one type of training and experience including classroom theory - all based on the Foreman-McLoughlin system. For quality instruction, each program is limited to 4 students.

This is for the purpose of encouraging equestrians to pursue continuing education. To name a few subjects that are covered: basic horse handling, balanced stops, lead changes, lightness of touch in controlling the horse, collection, footwork, the training time-line of the horse, the deep seat, and the independent seat. Instructional videos will also be shown, along with a Q & A session for horse owners, and equine educational hand-outs.
WORKSHOPS
A workshop is a half-day session, or one full day with two sessions. Our workshops are limited to 7-10 riders, held at C.S.S.S.A. These workshops cover single or double subject concepts. Workshops are held two or three times a year and can accent or be a steppingstone for a weekly program. Workshops carry a more intense atmosphere than weekly instruction, therefore can get weekly students over hurdles, where quality time is a factor. Workshops are a supportive tool for other types of instruction, especially clinics. Please visit RMHH's website for more information as it is a separate program.
